Design Build Workshop was founded in July 2016 by Scott Rothman.

Originally from London, I began my architectural journey in New York City and now extend my practice to both the Hamptons and Palm Beach, offering refined design sensibility and hands-on expertise tailored to the ultra high-end market.

I believe great architecture begins with simplicity and intention. For me, designing and building exceptional spaces isn’t just a profession, it’s a passion.

My mission is to transform each client’s vision, values, and aspirations into spaces that are highly personal, purposeful, and enduring.

With a hands-on background in cabinetry, millwork, lead carpentry, architecture, and construction, combined with a solid foundation in design and project management, I bring a holistic and practical understanding to every project. This integration of creative vision and technical expertise allows me to approach each phase with clarity, craftsmanship, and meticulous attention to detail.

As your design architect and client representative, my role is to streamline what can often be a complex and layered process. Through collaborative dialogue, clear communication, and strategic execution, I aim to deliver a seamless, efficient, and rewarding experience from concept to completion.
